Maritime Security Traning Services

U.S. Coast Guard accredited Vessel Security Officer (VSO) Refresher course provides the knowledge required for personnel who are assigned responsibilities as Vessel/Ship Security Officer (VSO/SSO) to perform their duties in accordance with 33 CFR 104.215 and ISPS Part A, Sec 12.  Furthermore, the successful completion of this course fulfills the Coast Guard endorsement required for those mariners performing the duties of VSO/SSO in order to maintain their STCW certification as per 33 CFR 104.215(d)(4).

Cost (per student): $350 ($400 on location)*

The Security Awareness Training for all Other Facility Personnel (SAFP) course is designed to provide the knowledge required to enable personnel without designated security duties, in connection with a Facility Security Plan (FSP), to enhance security in accordance with the requirements of the MTSA, as set forth in 33 CFR 105.225.

Duration: 4-hours (1/2-day)

Security Training for all Facility or Vessel Personnel “with security duties” course is meant to fill the gap between Security Officer training courses and required facility specific training, connection with a Facility or Vessel Security Plan (FSP/VSP), enabling personnel with designated security duties to apply security measures as set forth in the FSP/VSP.

This course is facility or vessel specific, and is a customized training course which includes “relevant portions” of the FSP or VSP as required by 33 CFR 104.220, 105.210 or ISPS Part B, Sec 13 and Sec 18.  For more information on  a facility/vessel specific course for your “personnel with security duties” please contact us.
